SUNIL AGRO VISIT

PROJECT GOAL

To learn how atta (flour) is made from scratch

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Flour (aata) is the foundational ingredient for many staple foods in India, and the rotaractors had a unique opportunity to witness how it is processed and manufactured.

They were shown how different kinds of atta and maida were made. The entire process from the cleaning of the wheat by segregating the tiny stones, all the way to how it is processed through four floors, they have seen and learned it all. What is more fascinating is each of the by products of wheat can be used in the further processing to make products like rava!

Sunil Agro supplies the products to companies like Pillsbury, Maggie, Ashirvad etc. and the factory workers helped give the RCBI members not just educational, but also a very fun day!
