Workshop on Rural Women's Hygiene and Sanitary Pads at Hosakote

Rural Development is part of RBI's Community Service Project jointly with Manipal Foundation. Director Rtn Harish Anand and Chairman Rtn Shyam Agarwal have been pursuing the project along with Dr Balakrishnan Warrier from Manipal Foundation.

The Chairman Rtn Shyam Aggarwal has taken great initiative for the project, to bring awarness in association with Manipal Foundation & Hosakote Block Education Offficer Mr V C Basavraje Gowda.

They have organised the workshop on 23rd August 2011. In this workshop the girl students from 54 schools will participate along with their teachers. Worshop's objectives are to inculcate the hygiene needs for the Girl students and women in and around the Sonnahallipura village.

There are approximately 54 educational institutes that are High schools, PU and College. All the heads and one lady teachers from each school have also been invited.

In addition the Block Education Officer, the Deputy Director Public Instruction of Bangalore Rural District and few others from the Government have also been invited.

As the audience is expected to be over 100, there will be two sessions of about 50 women each. In each session there will be approx 25 schools.

The workshop details are -

Date - 23 Aug 2011

Time - Ist session - 10 to 1 p.m. and 2nd session 2 to 5 p.m.

There will be 15 minutes break in each session for tea / coffee.
Lunch will be served for all between 1 and 2 p.m.

The venue is Al Ameen Institute which is a residential school. Hosakote

Route to the Venue-

Indiranagar to Hosakote. Do not turn for Sonnahallipura. Go straight. When a flyover comes, do not go over it, go on the left side. Then a second fly over comes. Turn right below the flyover. The Al Ameen institution is on the right. About 15 minutes from Hosakote. Should reach in 45-50 minutes from Indiranagar. Suggest start around 9 from Indiranagar.
